Robert Bado, Principal
Rob Bado, Custom Home Safety + Defense’s Principal, has been passionate about the security and safety field since he was a kid. With over 35 years in the alarm and patrol/security industry, he has enjoyed providing people safety, security, and peace of mind through proper protection, education, and training on preventing and acting during an emergency. Rob’s area of expertise is electronic and physical security, safety, and protection. With Police and Fire services being overburdened and stretched to capacity, Rob is devoted to teaching homeowners and businesses to prepare for emergencies. Knowing that in today’s world, homeowners may have to perform critical life-saving measures or defend their home and family until help arrives. Rob is a lifelong Dodger fan, has been married for 25 years, and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family hiking and fishing.
Robert Vega, Director of Defense Education and Training
Robert Vega currently serves as a police Detective Sergeant and is the Director of Defense Education and Training for Custom Home Safety + Defense. He has 21 years of law enforcement experience and has also served in the United States Army. Robert’s leadership experience includes a strong foundation in law enforcement, home defense, personal defense, and he is a certified law enforcement firearms instructor. Robert is dedicated to helping homeowners take a proactive approach to the safety of their homes, families, and businesses. Robert enjoys the outdoors, hiking, off-roading, and participating in mud runs with his son.
Mark Lucatorto, Director of Professional Partnerships
Mark Lucatorto has 30+ years of experience in Investigations, Executive Protection, and Real Estate and serves as the Director of Professional Partnerships for Custom Home Safety + Defense. Mark’s experience also includes United States Air Force service, being a former Deputy Sheriff with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and volunteer work as a Search & Rescue officer for the Van Nuys Civil Air Patrol Squadron. As a long-time realtor, Mark is committed to working with business partners to help them educate homeowners, businesses, and community members on the importance of home security, personal safety, and workplace safety.
Nick Tutino, Director of Residential Safety and Defense
Nick Tutino has been a law enforcement officer for over 15 years in the Greater Los Angeles area with experience spanning patrol, SWAT operations, Major Crimes, and Probation. During his career Nick has been involved in every type of criminal investigation including property crimes, burglaries, narcotics and gang crimes. He has assisted detectives in apprehending suspects and investigating many home invasion burglaries throughout his career. As the Director of Residential Safety and Defense Nick serves as our advisor for residential home safety training, fortification, and defense. Nick enjoys running and playing soccer. He has been married for 10 years and has 2 young boys, as a family they love to spend time outdoors and stay active.
